Michal Rahfeldt '97 is director of programs for the Children's Radio Foundation in Cape Town, South Africa. After graduating from Luther with majors in music and German, Rahfeldt earned both a master's degree and a doctorate in ethnomusicology from the University of Michigan. He has taught at the University of Michigan and the University of Cape Town, along with serving in several capacities with UNICEF in Cape Town and Zambia. He also serves as a board member for Young in Prison in South Africa.
His visit is presented by the Center for Ethics and Public Life in collaboration with the Sense of Vocation program.
