Day One Results - After the first day of competition of the Grinnell Invitational Luther is in fourth place from the field of six teams posting 366 points.
Individually, David Carius won the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.35. Carius also advanced to the A-Finals of the 200 fly placing fourth (2:04.68).
Also advancing to the A-Finals for the Norse was Sam Raiche in the 200 Fly (9th - 2:09.180); Carson Miller (4th - 2:17.71) and Raymond Dulaney (7th - 2:22.82) in the 200 breaststroke; Branch Johnson in the 100 backstroke (5th - 56.31); Carson Miller (5th - 2:04.05) and Justin Yuan (8th - 2:06.52) in the 200 IM.
Day Two Results - Luther finished the two-day invitational in fourth place posting a point total of 737. Grinnell College won the team title with 1212, followed by Gustavus Adolphus with 976.
Advancing to A-Finals and where they placed today included David Carius in the 1650 freestyle (2nd) and 400 IM (4th); Carson Miller in the 1650 freestyle (5th) and 100 breaststroke (8th); Branch Johnson in the 200 freestyle (7th) and 200 backstroke (6th); Jacob Sund in the 400 IM (8th); Jacob Cole in the 200 freestyle (9th); Gunnar Swanson in the 100 fly (10th); Justin Yuan in the 100 breaststroke (5th); Spencer Young in the 1650 (10th); and Ryley Kramka in the 50 freestyle (5th).
Luther will wrap up the home schedule one week from today when it will host Coe College at 1:00 p.m.
