Roger Ahlman Invitational

Luther finished second at the Roger Ahlmand Invitational hosted by Macalester College this afternoon. The Norse posted 462 points. University of St. Thomas won the team title with 757.

Individual's placing in the top-three for the Norse included Sam Weinberg, David Carius and Andres Alvarez-Arboled. Weinberg placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:52.87), while Alvarez-Arboled placed third in the 50 freestyle (22.60). Carius had three top-three finishes. He won the individual title of the 500 freestyle (5:00.19), and placed second in both the 200 IM (2:06.47) and 400 IM (4:29.53).

The 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay all finished second. Branch Johnson, Justin Yuan, Carson Miller and Alvarez-Arboled posted a time of 1:43.25 in the 200 medley relay. Ryley Kramka, Trevor Kao, Yuan and Alvarez-Arboled were clocked at 1:32.50 in the 200 freestyle relay. Kao, Weinberg, Carius and Kramka completed the afternoons action with a time of 3:24.23 in the 400 freestyle relay.

The Norse will return to dual meet competition on Saturday, Nov. 22 when they will host the Eagles of UW-La Crosse at 1:00 p.m. This meet will be video streamed
