Rain wiped out the third and final round of the 2017 Gustavus Adolphus Twin Cities Classic forcing the final results to be decided by a 36-hole tournament.
Luther shot identical rounds of 309 and finished in a tie for 10th place with a 618. University of Manitoba won the team title carding a two-round total of 581. St. John's University was six strokes behind at 587, and Augsburg College rounded out the top-three at 594.
Individually, Joe Fewer posted a top-10 finish from the field of 72 golfers. Fewer shot rounds of 76-73 for a 149. Fewer finished six strokes behind co-medalists Josh Neufeld and Steve Young, both from University of Manitoba.
Completing the Norse squad and how they finished included Paul Knutson (T14th - 74-76-150), Spencer Horst (T48th - 80-78-158), Ben Grotnes (59th - 79-82-161), and Carson Hagen (T70th - 87-84-171).
Luther will wrap up its fall schedule on Oct. 1-2, when it will play in the Viterbo University Ronnie Eastman Invitational. The two-day tournament will be played at La Crosse Country Club, Onalaska, Wis.
