This class is just what you need to beat the winter doldrums. It may be snowy and cold outside, but (believe it or not) gardening season is just around the corner. This class is designed to provide you with a jumpstart to a successful gardening season and will be useful for everyone from first-time gardeners to lifelong gardeners looking to spice up a pre-existing space. Participants can expect to gain insights into the key factors to take into consideration when planting a garden. Based on his experience with planning and planting gardens professionally, Jeff will also provide tips and strategies for garden planning, as well as outline a timeline for spring garden preparation and planting.
Special note: In 2014 Luther will be working through Driftless Gardens to offer garden support as part of the CSA Reimbursement Program for Faculty and Staff.
Instructor: Jeff Scott, Driftless Gardens
