No. 7 Luther exploded for 10 runs on 15 hits and rolled to a 10-1 victory over Hamline University.

Carli Radil had a huge game driving in four runs thanks to a 2-for-3 performance at the plate. Radil got things started with a two-run home run in the top of the first, her fourth of the season. 

Hiliary Pennington led a group of six batters who produced multiple hit efforts. Pennington was 3-for-4 and scored three runs. Miranda McCay, Kayla Hatting, Paige Lobdell, and Lindsey Uphoff all tallied two hits.

Annie Versnik picked up her first collegiate victory. Versnik replaced Erica Manske in the bottom of the second and allowed four hits in 3 1/3 innings of work. 

Box Score

The win gives Luther a record of 6-0, while Hamline fell to 1-3.

The Norse will return to action on Wednesday, March 12 when they will travel to the Vadnais Sports Center, Vadnais Heights, Minn., to face Bethel University. The twin bill will begin at 3:00 p.m.
