Luther shot a 313 today at the Dubuque Golf and Country Club and remains in third place after the third round of the Iowa Conference Championships. The Norse have shot a three-round total of 925 and are 20 strokes behind Dubuque that sits atop the leader board with a 905. Central College is second at 908.
Individually, Tobias Kohl is in fourth place (75-76-72 - 223). Elliot Horst is in sixth place (76-73-78 - 227). The top-10 golfers will earn all-conference honors.
Dubuque's Eric Wolfe enters the final round with a seven stroke lead. Wolfe (70-70-75-215) leads Tyler Gunderson of Coe and Desmond Stoll of Central who are tied for second at 222.
Luther carded a 307 on the final day of the Iowa Conference Tournament that was played on the Par 70, Dubuque Golf & Country Club that measured 6,108 yards. The Norse finished third posting a 36-hole total of 1232. University of Dubuque won its first conference title since 1975 finishing at 1210. Central was second at 1217.
Individually, Tobias Kohl became only the third player in Luther history to earn all-conference honors four times. Kohl finished alone in third from the field of 40 golfers, shooting rounds of 75-76-72-77-300. Elliot Horst and Andrew Peter also earned all-conference honors by finishing in the top-10. Horst placed seventh (76-73-78-78-305) and Peter finished in a four-way tie for 10th (76-78-79-77-310). This is the first all-conference honor for Horst and second for Peter.
Peter Kephart (22nd - 319) and Britt Vander Linden (27th - 325) completed the Norse five.
