Luther lost a 3-2 double overtime decision to University of St. Thomas this afternoon in St. Paul, Minn.

The Tommies Nick Rapisarda scored his sixth goal of the year assisted by Alex Bernhardt at 106:58 that secured the victory.

The Tommies never trailed in this contest scoring first at 1:39. J W Slauson (3) evened the score with an unassisted goal at 11:09. Twelve minutes later, the Tommies took a 2-1 lead at 23:26 that would hold until the 49th minute, when Ryan Medina (1) scored his first goal of the season assisted by Josh Parris (1).

The loss drops Luther's overall record to 4-3, while St. Thomas improved to 5-1-2. 

The Norse will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 25, when they will travel to Winona, Minn., for a match against St. Mary's University. Start time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
