Luther improved to 2-0, defeating Concordia University-Chicago 69-51, in the final game of the River Forest Classic. The Norse played well on both ends of the floor shooting nearly 52 percent from the field, while holding the Cougars to just 36 percent. The Norse also won the battle of the boards 31-21. Twenty five of Luther's points came from the free throw line, as the Norse connected on 25-of-31 attempts.
Zach Matos-Pritchard, Tyler Wedemeier and Michael Crocker led the sqaud with double-digit efforts. Matos-Pritchard and Wedemeier both tallied 15 points, while Crocker was credited with 12.
Luther will return to action on Monday, Nov. 19 when it will travel to St. Olaf College. This non-conference game will begin at 7:00 p.m.
