The College of Engineering at Iowa State University would like to invite prospective graduate students and faculty from Luther College to a graduate programs
Open House event on Friday afternoon, October 26th.
The visit will begin with a catered lunch where visitors will hear from Associate Dean for Graduate Education, Gary Mirka, as well as Associate Dean for Research, Balaji Narasimhan. After lunch, visitors will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff from the department of their choosing and/or take an optional campus tour. The visit will conclude with a social where visitors will further interact with college personnel while enjoying drinks and cookies.
11:30am-Noon: Visitors arrive (park at the Memorial Union) and make their way to Marston Hall
Noon-1:15pm: Lunch (114 Marston)
1:15pm-1:30pm: Travel to departments
1:30-3:30pm: Visit departments; meet with faculty, tour labs, etc.
2:30-3:30pm: Optional campus tour (leaves from 114 Marston)
3:30-4pm: Cookies, drinks, and closing remarks. (114 Marston)
Please RSVP by email no later than Tuesday, October 23rd. In your response please include the names and status (whether they are a student or a faculty member) for all that will be attending, as well as the academic department each is most interested in learning more about.
