After the first round of the 36-hole Wartburg Fall Invitational, Luther sits in seventh place from the field of 17 teams. The Norse shot 340 on the par 72 Centennial Oaks Golf Course that measured 5866 yards.
Carleton leads the field after carding a 304. St. Thomas is five strokes back at 309 and UW-Eau Claire is third at 311.
Day Two Results: Luther matched its first round total of 340 and finished the 36-hole tournament at 680 and finished in ninth place.
Carleton won the team title with a 604 after shooting 300 this afternoon. St. Thomas was second at 615 and UW-Stout was third at 620.
Individually, Madeline Petellin led the Norse with a two-round total of 165. Lexi Graf was next at 170, followed by Meggie Acker with a 172. Hannah Hagarty shot 175 and Sam Kraft completed the Norse five with a 179. Maddie Bouslog played as an individual and shot 185.
The Norse will travel next to the Jewell in Lake City, Minn., for the Division III Classic Sept. 13-14.
