Prof. Mark Edmundson from the English Dept. of the University of Virginia. He is the best-selling author of Why Teach?, Teacher: The One That Made The Difference, Why Read?, Literature Against Philosophy, Plato to Derrida: A Defence of Poetry, Towards Reading Freud: Self-Creation in Milton, Wordsworth, Emerson, and Sigmund Freud. He has also contributed numerous articles to The New York Times, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Atlantic, Oxford American and others.
