Career Center Guiding Coalition Faculty Discussion
This event takes place each day from February 25, 2014 to February 26, 2014.
|Date:||Tuesday, February 25, 2014|
|Location:||Centennial Union, Mott|
Faculty are invited to hear and provide feedback on the "Luther College Promises to Students". Building on Luther College's Mission, Vision and Values the "promises" were created to help articulate the outcomes that students expect from a Luther education. The Career Center's "Guiding Coalition" (a group of faculty and staff representing multiple segments of the campus, specifically those whose work tied to the Career Center) are looking for faculty input. Please choose one of the dates/times below to contribute to the discussion:
• Tuesday, Feb. 25, 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Centennial Union, Mott
• Wednesday, Feb. 26, 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Centennial Union, Mott
A draft of the promises can be found on KATIE under "All Faculty Committees"
As you read the promises think about them in terms of (1) those that are particularly beneficial in thinking about how faculty might work with the Career Center to help students and (2) those that that are interesting to carry forward as part of a larger, ongoing conversation. There will be future opportunities for further discussion.
