Have you ever wondered if you could follow a vegetarian diet? Are you excited about the toted health claims of increased energy, weight loss or a healthier heart? Join Johanna to discuss the following questions: Why would anyone want to be a vegetarian, really? How does a veg diet actually work? (In practice and in nutrition theory). Is being a vegetarian really a healthy choice? We’ll eat our way through several veg dishes as we explore meal planning and techniques to follow a vegetarian diet. Recipes to go home and repeat, provided. We also recommend this class for those of you who cook or live with a vegetarian, especially parents supporting vegetarian youth.
