Luther's five match win streak came to an end tonight as Carleton defeated the Norse 3-2.

The Knights Will Corcoran (4) scored what proved to be the game winner at 79:27. The Knights held a 2-0 lead at halftime thanks to a Branden McGarrity goal at 15:17, and a Luther own goal at 25:15.

J W Slauson (5) pulled the Norse to within one at 54:12, assisted by Logan Martell (3) and Brock Arend (4). Arend (6) scored the final goal of the night at 87:12 assisted by Slauson (5).

The loss gives Luther an overall record of 9-4-0, while Carleton improved to 8-1-3.

The Norse will return to Iowa Conference action this Saturday, Oct. 12 when they will travel to Simpson College. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
