SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, October 4, 2014, Clarke University Education Department Conference - "Teaching in the Wild".
Educator, author and 2014 Clarke University Education Department Keynote speaker Donalyn Miller refers to "readers in the wild" as readers who have developed lifestyle behaviors that foster a life-long love of reading and learning. At Clarke, we have developed the term "Teaching in the Wild" for teachers who have adopted lifestyle behaviors that foster a love of learning, growth and success as educators.
Like good reading, we know that good professional development requires time, choice and community. With this conference we offer teachers time to think and be inspired about their teaching, choices from dozens of sessions led by the area's best K-12 and higher education teachers, and the Clarke Community to welcome you and foster support, conversation and collaboration.
Bring your friends and colleagues and join us for a day of information, inspiration and renewal!
