Competitions and Conferences

Luther College Elevator Pitch Competition: The Luther College E Club hosts an annual elevator pitch competition in which students from all over campus have 90 seconds to "pitch" their new venture idea to a panel of judges. Winners of the competition receive a stipend which is applied toward the cost of registration in the annual CEO conference and an opportunity to compete as a campus entry in the national CEO elevator pitch competition. This competition is open to ALL Luther students.
Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO): Members who actively participate in the E club have the opportunity to attend the annual CEO conference which is held in Chicago, Ill. CEO is a global network of more than 30,000 students dedicated to supporting and inspiring college students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunities through enterprise creation. Every year the organization hosts a national conference where more than 1,200 students and faculty attend. The Luther College E Club hosts an annual elevator pitch competition prior to the CEO conference. For more information on this conference, see www.c-e-o.org.
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE): E Club members are uniquely situated to prepare and present projects at the annual regional SIFE competition and have the opportunity to attend these competitions as a networking and educational experience.
Business Plan Competitions: E Club members have access to resources and education that support them in their endeavors to present and compete in various local and regional business plan competitions.
