The purpose of Secular Student Society is to encourage free thought and open mindedness, explore the history of secularism, create a network of secular students. It is not the purpose to defame any religion or other beliefs, or be disrespectful of those who do not share the groups’ beliefs.

Membership is open to any Luther College student who is interested in secular beliefs, agrees to attend at least 8 meetings over the course of the year/ 1 per month and agrees to be involved with at least one project to help the group (fund raiser, recruitment, meeting etc.)
