The deadline for Luther summer work applications is March 1.
Don't put it off - if your app isn't in by March 1, you won't be considered for work.
First - go to this link: http://www.luther.edu/hr/
complete the form and return it to the Office of Human Resources as soon as you can. They're located in the basement of Main, right outside the Financial Aid Office.
Second - Start talking to offices on campus and let them know you're looking for summer work. They may give you a separate application, or they may tell Human Resources that you're someone they'd like to hire. Sell your skills, your responsibility, reliability and all around great worker traits!! Be confident!
At the same time be looking for jobs for the fall. Offices have already started their hiring for fall, so seek out those places you'd like to work. It doesn't hurt to ask....what's the worst that could happen?
Not sure yet of your summer plans? Apply anyway! You can work out the details later.
The Diversity Center will have student job openings for the center online soon and everyone is invited to apply at such time for these positions.
