The programs and initiatives of the Luther College Diversity Center are designed to provide students with experiences to meet the following goals:

Knowledge/Content

• Develop a deep understanding of self, in the context of cultural complexity and the interconnectedness and interdependence of global systems.

Attitudinal/Mode of Being

• Demonstrate greater appreciation of other cultures, value diversity, and commit to making a difference in the world.

Skills

• Develop and use intercultural communication skills in order to think, work, and move across boundaries--in diverse environments with a range of people.
