About Us
Mission Statement
The Counseling Service staff work collaboratively with students to foster their development as whole and resilient persons. This development process involves:
- resolving personal concerns that often limit full participation in the academic community
- enhancing coping and stress management skills
- exploring and integrating personal identity
- developing individual strengths to meet future challenges and opportunities
- building healthy relationships and strong interpersonal skills
Counseling staff also seek to create an environment where faculty, staff, friends, and parents facilitate students' interpersonal growth.
