Senior Project Due Dates & Deadlines
All due dates must be satisfied or the senior project final grade will be affected and/or the student may be asked to delay the senior project by a semester.

Due two weeks after registration for senior project The Communication Studies Department Head will send an e-mail request for statements of intent. |

| Mandatory meeting with senior project advisor |
Before final exams of the semester BEFORE beginning work on the senior project After being assigned a senior project advisor it is the student’s responsibility to schedule a meeting with the advisor. |

| Senior Project Proposal and mandatory meeting with senior paper advisor |
Due the end of the first week of the semester registered for senior project. The Senior Project Proposal should be approximately one-page in length and should do the following:

| Excellent Draft | Due the week after midterm break, an "excellent draft" is a complete paper, but a draft that may still require considerable revision before the final draft. |
Spring '13 Fall ‘13 |
| Senior Oral Presentations | Typically the Sunday afternoon of the beginning of the 12th week of classes. |
Spring '13 Fall ‘13 |
| Final Draft | Due week 12 of classes; specific date announced by the Registrar’s office. Papers must be turned in to the Registrar by 5 p.m.! |
