Rick Torgerson became Luther's ninth president in July 1999, and he and Judy Torgerson have served the college with boundless and grace. Join the campus in celebrating 14 years of dedicated leadership. The farewell tribute will be followed by a reception in Bentdahl Commons.

Please be seated by 7:45 p.m. Baccalaureate is a time for seniors and their families to gather with the Luther community to celebrate and give thanks for the students’ years at Luther. Rooted in the college’s Christian tradition, this ecumenical service seeks to celebrate the diversity of the graduating class by incorporating readings and prayers from a variety of religious traditions. Audio recordings of the service are available upon request from the Office of College Ministries, (563) 387-1040, and on the College Ministries website. A freewill offering is designated to local and global charities in honor of the senior class.
