Dear Classmate,

Well, we’ve been “sesquicelebrating,” have you?  We hope you’ve had a chance to participate in the 150^th anniversary of Luther’s founding, if not in person perhaps via the web (more on that later).

In July we had the pleasure of being on campus for the All Band Alumni Reunion. Julie took her place in the string bass section and John as principal fan. Among the more than 260 musicians were many members of the Class of 1978: Julie (Kurz) Vasquez, Kathy (Jacobson) Ruhser, Rich Nicklay, Diane (Bandel) Padrutt, Christine (Kabele) and Dan Kallman, and Monica (Ike) Kasel (our sincere apologies if we missed anyone).
