What a fantastic Luther Homecoming we had the weekend of October 11. Over 130 of our classmates joined together in the 25-year celebration of the Luther Class of 1989. The football game featured beautiful, early fall sunshine that resulted in many of us showing up to the reunion dinner with sunburns. It was one of those perfect days in the Oneota Valley. The kind of day where the sun cannot shine long enough and we find ourselves again lingering in the long shadows of the fall trees. Listening to the rustling of the leaves as they blow across campus and the fresh smell of early fall. Oh, and a river runs through it. I (Chris) am sure you remember days like these on Luther’s campus 25+ years ago. Glorious is the one word that describes days like these at Luther.
