I begin what is entitled the “Spring Letter” with a longing gaze towards the real spring. Not that I mind winter. There are more books to read, movies to watch, winter walks, and sweaters to wear. I almost look forward to being stuck inside with projects to do that I would never consider when it was nice outside. Yes, this Southern California boy has become a confirmed Midwesterner, and I’m at that point during the year where I look forward to yet another seasonal change.
