It’s fall, so time for another letter to keep you updated about Luther and our mutual friends. Late September found us driving across northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s UP on US Highway 2. It was color overload...fiery reds and oranges and fluttery yellow poplars that just took your breath away. The most common statement was, “Oh, look at that,” or, “Look over there!” It was great. Now our leaves are about gone, but the tamaracks are still valiantly flying their colors. Soon they will be bare, but we’ll still be able to see that brilliance in our minds, and we’ll be hoping for some lovely white snow to brighten the landscape.
