Dear 1955 Classmates:
Greetings, one and all. Spring is around the corner. For those wintering in the Midwest, the respite from shoveling was offset by the unusual cold. For those in the East, or those traveling thereto, I hope that you either survived or dodged one of the three (at this writing) major snowstorms. Of course, the South had its episodes of bad weather, too – some tornadoes, heavy rain, even snow. Mary and I decided that the last half of January was a good time to leave Minnesota for Arizona. What luck. From north Texas and across New Mexico we had two days of clouds, mist, rain, sleet, and snow. Then, a few days after arriving in Arizona, we had three days of rain, from a drizzle to very heavy. But, life is good and back to normal down here – sunny and in the 80s.
