Thoughts for the Members of the Class of 1954
Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he/she has overcome while trying to succeed.
Laughter is the brush that sweeps away the cobwebs of the heart.
Dear 1954 Classmate,
Luther College has a higher calling—to connect faith with learning, freedom with responsibility, and life’s work with service.
Often the college uses these words when sending correspondence. They were used in the letter to me about the status of our Class of 1954 Scholarship. As of May 31, 2015, the balance of this endowed fund was $41,555.04.
One Luther student receives a scholarship from our Class of 1954 Scholarship. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could provide more than one student with a scholarship, to offset their cost to attend Luther?
Let us, each of us, consider continuing to contribute to our class scholarship, so that it may grow in its endowment fund balance, thus more students will receive a scholarship to attend Luther College. Go LUTHER!
