Dear Classmate of the Class of ’41:
It is a beautiful spring day here in my city of Seattle as I write this today. I know most of the Midwest and East is suffering under much cold and snow, so I hope you all are well, warm, and safe this season.
I wanted to update you on the results of your generous giving last year. The class of ’41 had eight donors, which is a 53 percent contribution by the 15 alumni still among us. Since those numbers came out, I am sad to report that my dear friend M. Duane Sommerness passed on to be with our Lord on the 3rd of December 2013. I want you to know that your actions and selfless giving each year make me so proud to be counted among these numbers. I hope that this year you will be able to keep up the good work.
