Dear Members of the Class of 1934-38,
On Luther’s campus the spring semester is drawing to a close. It’s hard to believe how quickly those fond memories of J-Term were replaced with optimistic thoughts of spring break, and how fast the summer will approach once we get beyond April. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the fascinating J-Term blogs written by students during their time away this past January. You can find the blogs on Luther’s website at https://www.luther.edu/jtermblogs2015/. The courses ranged from the study of the Masai culture in Tanzania to environmental concerns in Chile and energy innovations in Germany and Norway, as well as an intensive music experience for the Symphony Orchestra, while they were in residency in Vienna. Altogether some 400 students were enrolled in these courses.
