Sperati House

Sperati House, 501 High Street, was built by Carlo A. Sperati (1860-1945) in 1905. The remodeled residence serves as a guest house for official visitors to the campus. After graduating from Luther in 1888, Sperati become ordained as a pastor. He returned to Luther College in 1905 as director of music and became famous for twice taking the band to Europe, in addition to leading tours across the United States.
