Regents Center began with the Field House in 1964 and was completed with additional facilities in 1991. The Legends Fitness for Life Center—a new addition to the Regents Center—opened March 1, 2001.

It is Luther's principal athletic facility, although the tennis courts, Carlson Stadium, Ritland Fitness Trail, and several playing fields must be included to complete the picture.
