Olson Hall, a student dormitory completed in 1955, is named for Oscar Ludvig Olson (1872-1956) , who served a long career as a faculty member of the English Department and was the third President of the College, 1921-32. When he retired in 1952, his 51-year career as a teacher was the longest in Luther's history.
