College Apartments

banner photo college apartments

The college apartments were built on Ridge Road in 1973 (building 610 was built shortly after this date) and were originally intended for married students attending Luther College. Currently, two buildings (606 and 608) house traditional upperclass students, while the other two buildings (604 and 610) house married students and, on occasion, Luther College faculty and staff members.

The traditional student housing in the college apartments (606 and 608) was renovated in the summer of 1999. Each apartment houses three students and consists of a bathroom, bedroom, and living area. All rooms (except the bathrooms) are carpeted. The college apartments provide a more independent living environment for upperclass students while retaining campus connections. (A board plan is required for residents. The college apartments, Baker Village, and Prairie Houses share a seat on the Student Senate.)
