Baker Village, a townhouse-style residential complex, opened in Fall 1999. It is named after Jeffrey D. Baker, the 8th President of Luther College (1996-1999).

The Baker Village offers upperclass Luther students Scandanavian-style architecture set at the nexus of a rustic farm park area, a flowering prairie, and a lush wooded area.
