Management Major

The management major is designed to prepare students for ethical leadership, decision-making, and service in organizations operating within a global environment.

Faculty are dedicated to preparing students to accept and adapt to the challenges and changes of the 21st century. Majors are required to complete coursework in economics, accounting, marketing, human resource management, statistics, mathematics and financial management. (See Major Requirements)

Emphasis is placed on the development of writing and problem-solving skills through case work and classroom discussion. The faculty offer elective courses in entrepreneurship, international business management, negotiations and conflict resolution, investments, and organizational behavior. Students are encouraged to broaden their management studies by enrolling in courses in the fields of psychology, mathematics, information systems, and communication studies.
