Halloween Haunt: Monday, October 31. The Book Shop staff, alias "mad doctors, hosted a day full of tricks and treats complete with frightfully fantastic sales, a scavenger hunt, scary movies and popcorn. Special treats were given to those who attended in costume.
Transformed By the Journey Signing: Saturday, October 15. Author Wilfred Bunge, as well as co-authors Dale Nimrod and Mary Lou Mohr signed copies of the new Luther history book, Transformed By the Journey: 150 Years of Luther College History in Word and Image.
Doug Eckheart Print Signing: Saturday, October 15. The artist signed copies of his new print, Coming Home as well as Our Oneota Valley.
Erdman Book Signing: Saturday, October 15, 2011. Daryl Erdman '61 signed copies of Scar Tissue: Lessons From the World of Entrepreneurship.
Jacobsen Book Signing: Saturday, October 15, 2011. Theodor Jacobsen '77 and Anne Jacobsen Clausen signed copies of Hallowed Ground: A Luther College Legacy.
Tollefson Book Signing: Saturday, October 15, 2011. Dean Tollefson '57 and daughter, Kristi Tollefson Wolf '84 signed copies of their book, Rabbits Don't Hop, They Fly.
National Student Day: Thursday, October 6, 2011. The Book Shop hosted Luther College volunteer students for a day of games, prizes popcorn and fun.
Storybook Reading: Saturday, October 1, 2011. Luther Education students, dressed as storybook characters, read from their favorite books.
Book Signing by Diane Ott Whealy: Saturday, October 1, 2011. Whealy signed copies of her memoir Gathering: Memoir of a Seed Saver.
Book Signing by Stanley Gordon West: Saturday, October 1, 2011. West signed copies of Blind Your Ponies, a book that tells of a hapless high school basketball team that overcomes insurmountable odds.
Banned Book Readout: Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 9:40 -10:30 a.m. a reading was held in the Book Shop to celebrate Banned Books Week.
Retirement Party for Jim Haemker: Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 2 - 4 p.m. a retirement reception was held in the Addams Lounge, located on the second floor of the Dahl Centennial Union.
NAHA Norway Group Book Signing: Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Several presenters from the NAHA Norway conference signed copies of their books.
