On Wednesday, December 11 the Book Shop welcomed hundreds of visitors as we celebrated Christmas in the Union. Customers enjoyed Christmas movies, popcorn, found out if they were on Santa's Naughty or Nice list and drew a Santa cap to reveal discounts on their purchases.
The highlight of the day was the announcement of the Ugly Christmas Decoration and Sweater contests. Winner of the Decoration contest was Linda Jennings with her fancy alligator entry. Taking first place in the sweater contest was Marissa Satern, second was Britta Nyberg and third was Brody Vogel. There were 32 sweater entries and no two were alike! We thank the judges, Clark Goltz, Alyssa Ritter and Diane Tacke, for their entertaining questions and expertise.
Plan now to look for that Ugly Christmas decoration and sweater for next year's contests.
