Stephanie J.B. Fretham

Stephanie is a new member of the Biology Department and teaches Human Anatomy and Human Dissection in the fall semester. She is also introducing a brand new Toxicology course in the spring semester. Stephanie's research program uses C. elegans, a small and very versatile nematode model system, to investigate the effect of metals on the nervous system and the interaction between genetic and environmental factors in the development of neurodegenerative disease.
