The 2013 Iowa Prairie Conference is coming to Luther College July 18-20.  Hosted by the Department of Biology, and co-organized by the Tallgrass Prairie Center at UNI, the conference with the theme "Prairies on the Edge" will bring together prairie researchers, conservationists, managers, and enthusiasts to discuss tallgrass prairies in NE Iowa.  The conference will include talks, field trips to a number of prairie sites, with a special focus on hill prairies and some of the challenges facing those unique habitats.
