Upcoming Lecture: Dr. Michael T. Osterholm's "Deadliest Enemy"

Dr. David J. Roslien Distinguished Lecture in Science and Leadership

Dr. Michael T. Osterholm will be discussing his new book, Deadliest Enemy, in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on April 4 at 7:00pm. Drawing on the latest medical science, case studies, policy research, and hard-earned epidemiological lessons, Dr. Osterholm explores in detail the resources and programs we need to develop if we are to keep ourselves safe from infectious disease. He shows how we could wake up to a reality in which many antibiotics no longer cure, bioterror is a certainty, and the threat of a disastrous influenza pandemic looms ever larger. Only by understanding the challenges we face can we prevent the unthinkable from becoming the inevitable.

Dr. Osterholm will have a book signing before the lecture from 5:00pm-6:45pm in the CFL.

This event is the first annual Dr. David J. Roslien Distinguished Lecture in Science and Leadership.
