Lake Chelan Bach Fest

Since 2007 I have served as artistic and musical director of the Lake Chelan Bach Fest.

Founded in 1982, Bach Fest is a ten-day music festival presented annually (mid-July) in the north central Washington community of Chelan. And yes, we perform the music of J. S. Bach--the greatest of all composers--but not exclusively Bach’s music. Our mission statement describes pretty well what we do, and why:

The mission of the Lake Chelan Bach Fest is to inspire, enrich and educate audiences, participants and the communities of the region through experiencing a variety of live artistic performances.

The Lake Chelan Bach Fest attracts musicians from all over the United States and Canada. We welcome talented musicians of all ages--and the many volunteers who contribute their time and energy to achieve an exciting, exhilarating week of outstanding music!
