Astronomy is an active field of study at Luther College. Our facilities include the Emil C. Miller Planetarium, a four-telescope observing deck atop Valders Hall of Science and a remote-access research observatory located about eight miles north of campus (Luther College Remote Observatory).

One Friday of every month, we open the Valders Rooftop Observatory for a Public Observing open house. If you are in the area, please stop by.
