Contemporary artists continue to push the aesthetic capabilities of new digital media. Digital media students at Luther College explore the art-making capacity of digital media in 2D, 3D, and 4D, creating artwork using video, computational aesthetics, software, and robotics. The result is work that may take the form of installation art, performance art, animation, digital special effects, or computer games.
