Interim College Archivist
Sasha Griffin serves as the Interim College Archivist at Luther College, where she has also held the previous positions Digital Archivist and Project Archivist. Prior to Luther College, Griffin worked with The Ohio State University Byrd Polar Research Center Archival Program.
Griffin holds a BA in history from Capital University (Columbus, Ohio) and a MLIS from Kent State University. She is a member of the Society of American Archivists (SAA), where she has served in leadership roles in the Students and New Archives Professionals Roundtable and the Archivists’ Toolkit and Archon Roundtable. She is a member of the Midwest Archives Conference (MAC), and has sat on the Newsletter Redesign Task Force and is currently on the 2015 Program Committee. Additionally, she is a member of the ArchivesSpace User Advisory Council, the Wartburg College Library Advisory Board, and the Kent State University School of Library Science Alumni Council. She will serve as the Program Coordinator for the Archives Leadership Institute at Luther College for years 2013-2015.
Sarah Wicks is the Archives Collections Coordinator at Luther College. She is responsible for accessions and processing for Luther College Archives materials and The Postville Project materials, a grant funded initiative that seeks to document the community of Postville, Iowa, before, during, and after the 2008 immigration raid. Wicks holds a BA in Spanish from Luther College.
