Wednesday, June 11 - Flight to Vienna

Thursday, June 12 - Vienna
Bikers arrive in Vienna.  You'll have time for a stroll through the center of this fascinating city.  A city tour by bus is available and bookable at that time.  In the evening, we'll enjoy a Welcome Dinner at Melker Stifkeller, Schottengasse 3, Vienna.

Friday, June 13 - Vienna
Take a morning stroll on your own in the first district of Vienna.  We'll take an afternoon train to Salzburg and enjoy an evening concert in the home city of Mozart. Includes Breakfast

Saturday, June 14 - Salzburg
Today we'll explore this bike-friendly, well-preserved old city on a guided bike tour. Includes Breakfast & Dinner

Sunday, June 15 - Cycling Day1 -Salzburg to Attersee, Unterach (approx. 60 km)
Cycling along the old railway line, Bad Ischler, you'll reach the Mondsee and then the slightly rolling hills of the Attergau and Attersee. This popular recreational area is preferred by locals and tourists alike. Includes Breakfast & Dinner

Monday, June 16 - Cycling Day 2 - Attersee to Traunsee, Gmunden (approx. 55 km)
Today you'll ride through the romantic valley of Weißenbachtal to Lake Traunsee.  We'll transfer by boat or train to Gmunden, an old imperial city connected with the salt industry and salt spas. Includes Breakfast & Dinner

Tuesday, June 17 - Cycling Day 3 - Gmunden to Wels (approx. 31 km of riding + train ride)
This leg of the journey leads us through the villages of Laakirchen and Steyrermühl and on to Lambach.  In Lambach we'll take the train to Wels, a former Roman trading center. Includes Breakfast & Dinner

Wednesday, June 18 - Cycling Day 4 - Linz to Region of Grein (approx. 60 km)
We'll enjoy a visit to the monastery in St. Florian and stop by one of the oldest towns in Austria, the village of Enns. Your final destination today is the romantically Baroque village of Grein and its oldest existing Austrian theater. Includes Breakfast & Dinner

Thursday, June 19 - Cycling Day 5 - Grein to Wauchau, Mitterarnsdorf (approx. 63 km)
Passing through the regions of Strudengau and Nibelungengau, we will reach the famous Wachau, recently nominated as an UNESCO World Culture Heritage Area.  We'll visit the unique Benedictine monastery of Melk and sample local wine at one of the "Heurigen", a typical Austrian wine tavern.  Includes Breakfast & Dinner

Friday, June 20 - Cycling Day 6 - Wauchau, Mitterarnsdorf, Vienna (approx. 65 km of riding + train ride)
We'll cycle through several historical villages: Weißenkirchen, Dürnstein, and then on to the medieval town of Krems. In Tulln, we'll transfer by train to Vienna, "City of Music". Includes Breakfast & Dinner.

Saturday, June 21 - Day of Rest - Vienna
Your day is open to visit world-class museums or slow down to experience coffee where Europe's café culture was established. We recommend a visit to an unforgettable Waltz- and Operetta-Concert. Peter & Luisa will be glad to arrange your tours of Vienna tailored to your personal interests.  Includes Breakfast

Sunday, June 22 - Vienna
On this final day of exploration, we will take in the Morning Mass concert, the Demels Royal Café, and the Schonbrum Palace.  We will reminisce about our journey at our Breakfast & Farewell Dinner.

Monday, June 23 — Departure from Vienna, Flight Home
This is a departure day unless you have extended your stay in Vienna. We hope you do; there is much to experience in this great city and its surroundings!  Includes Breakfast
