Music & Conscience: Bach and Bonhoeffer
Tour of Germany and the Czech Republic - June 9 to June 21, 2010
The tour begins in Berlin, Bonhoeffer’s birthplace and the center of his teaching and work in the resistance against Hitler.
The group will then travel to Leipzig, where Bach culminated his career and composed his most beloved works.

In Leipzig the group will attend the internationally acclaimed Bach Festival, including two concerts on June 13th and 14th at Thomaskirche. Two days immersed in art in Dresden follow.
En route to the tour’s final destination, Prague--a city teeming with art and culture--the group will visit Flossenbürg Concentration Camp, site of Bonhoeffer’s execution in 1945.
