Admission to Luther

Students who transfer from other colleges are required to submit the following information:

  • Application form and fee (There is no application fee if you apply online.)
  • Educator's reference form
  • Final official high school transcript
  • ACT/SAT scores
  • College transcript(s)
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), if applying for need-based aid

If applicable:

  • Athletic release form
  • Music release form
  • GED final record
  • Official AP score reports for subject area scores of 4 or 5

Applications for admission are kept on file for two years. If you have applied within that time, there is no fee for reopening an application file, but a written request to reopen is required.

Each applicant is considered on an individual basis when the application is complete. Students eligible for academic scholarships are notified at the time of admission. Eligibility is determined by academic performance in high school and college, and by scores on the ACT and SAT examinations.

Every Life has a larger meaning. At Luther, we help you begin to find it.
