For about a week all we had been eating was cereal and bread. We were just lazy to take a shuttle or drive to Wal-Mart to buy food. So, on Wednesday we ran out of our food supply and we were hungry, very hungry. One of my friends was not talking at his normal rate because he had no energy to speak, he was hungry.
A huge meeting was called to discuss the demands of our stomach and we came up with a solution of driving to Wal-Mart to buy food. While we were in Wal-Mart, one suggested we buy some food at MacDonald because we were too hungry to wait for a cooked meal; the idea was thrown outside the window. While driving back, no one had volunteered to cook so subway was the next option to be explored. Again, the guys rejected it. Two of my friends then decided to cook and that was our first good meal of the break.
They say, “When one is hungry, every food taste good.” I am not sure whether the food really tasted good or it tasted good because I was hungry.
